Cable distribution cabinets made of concrete
The high-quality cable distribution cabinets are tested compliant with SN EN 61439-5 and are designed for safe and permanent low-voltage distribution in outdoor areas. With the large selection of cable ducts and all necessary accessories, these cabinets offer a very individual configuration.
K71 and M82 cable distribution cabinets made of reinforced concrete
Our high-quality cable distribution cabinets made of reinforced concrete are available in two different types.
The K71 is our spacious distribution cabinet and the M82 is the compact version.
SN EN 61439-1/-5, SN EN 124, SN EN 206
Sturdy, steel-reinforced concrete monobloc design C40/50, XF2, concrete grey and impregnated.
K71: Textured, exposed concrete (sides and rear wall) or smooth formwork.
M82: Textured, exposed concrete textured (sides and rear wall).
A textured surface makes billposting more difficult.
Coloured concrete and graffiti protection are available as an option.

Distribution cabinets are available with partitions, for control systems or communication applications such as TV/telephone/optical fibre installations, for example.

The door system consists of high-quality steel doors (V2A) covered with slightly textured, decorative chrome. The internal hinges prevent any attempt of vandalism. Variants for KABA or DIN cylinders are available as locking systems. The inside of the door features mounting points, prepared for the optional attachment of accessories such as a fuse cartridge holder, insulation wrench, material tray, and a pocket to hold diagrams/drawings.
The door system of the K71 distribution cabins includes a door stop.
The passive ventilation created by the door system ensures that the heat is dissipated.
A brush seal is installed around the entire door opening, preventing small insects from entering and keeping dirt out.
As an option, the power dissipation capacity can be further increased by installing ventilation grilles in the door.
K71: A lightweight construction made of fibre-reinforced concrete or made of stainless sheet metal with swivelling lever.
M82: A lightweight construction made of reinforced concrete with swivelling lever
Construction power entries in base plates and on the side of the cabin wall are closed with a cover made of stainless decorative sheet metal.
K71: Side wall Ø 75 mm, base plate Ø 80 mm.
M82: Side wall and base plate Ø 60 mm.
As an option, instead of a circular construction power entry, cable feed openings - 50 mm wide and open at the top - are also available for the feedthrough of larger cable plugs (omitting tedious threading of the cables).
Three systems are available to seal the inserted cables to the cable duct.
The FS 95 sealing system with rubber sealing modules, 50 mm wide, (for cables up to Ø 2x35 mm) and 100 mm (for cables up to Ø 72 mm). These rubber sealing modules snap onto the support system, sealing the inserted cables perfectly against the cable shaft. It's characterised by easy handling and high process reliability.
Compared to the FS E sealing system using one Ethafoam® plate, the FS 98 sealing system using two Flexathene® mats offers a reduced amount of work for an optimal sealing of the inserted conductor.
Structural C profiles are embedded into the rear walls of the cabinet for mounting the fixtures and connected to the earthing point (earthing plate).
Transport lugs with bolted connection are provided in the side walls of the structures.
Ready-made foundations for distribution cabinets
A wide range of street-level foundations with lids meeting the load classes A 15 to B 125 requirement as well as base foundations without covers are available for the installation and cabling of the distribution cabinets.
Pipe entries, which can be easily broken out, are integrated on all sides of the street-level foundations. The cable duct lids can be adjusted to the terrain using the mounting lugs in the stainless cover frame. Subsequently, concrete can be added to the underside of the frame.
Reducing blocks for installing cable distribution cabinets on larger foundations are available. Customer-specific reducing blocks on existing distribution cabinet foundations are also available as an option.
Busbar system SaS
The Cellpack SICUNORM busbar system (SaS) is available in two cross-sections, measuring 284 mm2 (T630) and 523 mm2 (T1000) and come either bare or nickel-plated and with or without press-in nuts. The M8 and M12 press-in nuts are spaced 25 mm apart; this makes it possible to install a highly flexible NH fused switch-disconnector design.
PEN or N, PE rails can be designed with sliding or press-in nuts.

Short circuit current rating (SCCR)
Icw ≥ 25 kA (1 s), higher values are possible for specific projects, depending on the support interval of the busbars.
The busbar system can be fitted with NH fused switch-disconnectors from CPS (slide connection for cable lugs), made by Jean Müller, Hager, Pronutec or other manufacturers according to customer specifications.
Mounting and installation of street lighting distribution systems, measurements depending on current intensity possible using converters with meter/ripple control receiver stations, e.g. for feeding electric charging stations (e-mobility).
Domestic power requirement using a flush-mounted wall box (with integrated automatic LED light and T23 plug), or using a DIN 00 power bar for domestic use (with T23 plug via switch and LED torch).
Cabinets can also be prepared with perforated plates to simplify the installation of low-voltage current components.
Depending on environmental conditions and the sensitivity of the installed switchgear, we offer solutions equipped with small electric heaters, which are efficiently controlled using a hygrostat.
Smart metering can be realised via a CPS SGIM bar.
