Naturally aspirated or hermetically sealed distribution transformers are filled with liquid. Depending on the transformer capacity, the content can exceed 1000 litres.
Contact of the transformer oil with the environment represents an inadmissible damage. In case of a transformer defect, prevention is mandatory.
The entire range of collecting troughs from Cellpack is therefore leak-tested and can also be used in areas with increased water protection requirements.
Transformer oil trays made of stainless steel or fibre-reinforced plastic (GFRP) are suitable for floor installation underneath the structural support profiles of the transformer.
The sizes of the polyester troughs cover the common transformer sizes up to 1000 kVA.
The steel designs are also available made-to-measure and can include a removable side panel, which makes it easier to insert the transformer into the trough.
Specially designed steel troughs can also be suspended from the transformer’s structural support profiles, leaving space underneath for cable routing.
